The Red Baron Corvettes are again sponsoring a car, motorcycle and plane show at NW Regional Airport in Roanoke, Texas from 3:00PM to 7:00PM on Saturday, 09/19/09. ALL antique, classic, custom, hot rod, muscle, resto mod, stock, street rod and vintage cars, motorcycles plus experimental, specialty and vintage aircraft will be there. The public is invited. Currently it is show & shine only. There is no competition presently planned for this event and no entry fee. However, this may change to owner's choice.
Directions: Traveling on I-35W, take exit 74 (first one north of Texas Motor Speedway). Go east on Crosstimbers (FM1171) for .5 mi. to Cleveland Gibbs Road and turn right (south). If you come from the east, traveling west on Crosstimbers (FM1171), go 1.9 mi. past Hwy. 377 to Cleveland Gibbs Road and turn left (south).
Travel south on Cleveland Gibbs Road for .3 mi. and turn at the first left at the NORTH end of the runway. STOP!! Check for approaching or departing aircraft.

Airport Rule: Cars yield to aircraft (it's easier to back a car!). NW Regional IS an operating airport so, be to sure to park far enough (20') off of taxiway so that aircraft wings can clear cars. PLEASE NOTICE: THIS IS GRASS PARKING.
Bring your folding chairs and, although we have plenty of shade for the attendees, consider bringing your own umbrella or canopy. BYOB (none available at the airport) and food, if you want to picnic. Concessions available.
